RESPONSIBILITIES:
* To develop and implement an external communications strategy to establish the narrative of the Bank in line with the vision and mission of the organization.
* To work with Business heads and other stakeholders to provide strategic direction as well as thought leadership insights through external communications.
*To manage the crisis communications protocol for the bank.
*Manage the Twitter handle of HBL to help enhance the Bank’s profile as a thought leader
*Working with the HBL Foundation, leverage CSR/Sustainability initiatives and strategies and plan and manage community relations / employee volunteering.
*Work with Marketing to determine the most appropriate way to leverage external brand building initiatives and corporate sponsorships.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* At least 5 years’ experience in a communication related discipline, preferably corporate or media communications
* Experience of developing and delivering engaging external communications and social media management
*On and off-line communications experience, including an interest and knowledge of new social media tools and techniques
*Experience of strategic development of communications channels
Skills:
*A degree in a related communications discipline
*Proven track record of implementing external communication programs and effective social media strategies
